He received his B.S. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Chung-Ang University, Seoul, South Korea, in 1998, and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Graduate School of Advanced Imaging Science, Multimedia, and Film (GSAIM), Chung-Ang University, in 2000 and 2010, respectively. He was a Senior Researcher at G-Inno System from 2002 to 2005. He then served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Chung-Ang University in 2010 and at the LIRIS Laboratory, Lyon 1 University, France, from February 2011 to February 2013.<\/p>

He worked at the Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), Daejeon, South Korea, from May 2013 to February 2016, and subsequently at Sungkyul University from March 2016 to February 2019. He is currently a faculty member in the College of Art and Technology at Chung-Ang University.<\/p>

He has served as a reviewer for several international journals, including Multimedia Tools and Applications (MTAP)<\/em>, Computers & Graphics<\/em> (Elsevier, U.K.), The Journal of Supercomputing (JOS)<\/em>, and The Visual Computer<\/em> (Springer). His research interests include computer graphics, real-time GPU-based rendering, VR\/AR\/XR, game technology, generative AI, and image-based deep learning.<\/p>

He has participated as a Program Committee member in numerous international conferences and workshops and has edited several international journal special issues as a guest editor, including The Journal of Real-Time Image Processing<\/em>, The Journal of Internet Technology<\/em>, and Multimedia Tools and Applications<\/em>. He has also served as an Associate Editor for The Journal of Real-Time Image Processing<\/em> and the Journal of Multimedia Information System<\/em>.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Chunag-Ang University in 1981 and 1983. He continued his graduate study at University of Connecticut, where he received an M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science in 1988 and 1991. He is currently a honorary president of Korean Computer Graphics Society.
